Job Title: Experienced ETL Tester (Google Cloud Platform)

Location- only local to Bangalore
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand ETL requirements and design test scenarios.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
• Validate data transformations, data quality, and data consistency across various GCP services.
• Perform end-to-end testing of data pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, and loading into BigQuery.
• Identify and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on ETL code.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure smooth execution.
• Create and maintain documentation related to ETL testing processes and best practices.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an ETL tester, preferably with hands-on experience in GCP components (Pub/Sub, Dataflow, BigQuery).
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and querying.
• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and data warehousing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:
• GCP certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer).
• Experience with Apache Beam for Dataflow development.
• Understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
