Job Overview

We are seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices within the development team and ensure the effective implementation of the Scrum framework. The Scrum Master will act as a coach, mentor, and servant leader, helping the team follow Agile principles, remove impediments, and improve collaboration to deliver high-quality products.

The role involves working closely with Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth sprint execution and continuous improvement in Agile maturity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage project scope, timelines, and sprint planning activities.
2. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
3. Coach and guide team members in Agile and Scrum frameworks.
4. Foster collaboration and communication within cross-functional teams.
5. Act as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding project progress.
6. Work closely with Product Owners to manage product backlogs and new requests.
7. Identify and remove impediments or blockers affecting team productivity.
8. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
9. Support teams in improving Scrum maturity and Agile adoption.
10. Promote a productive and positive work environment where teams take ownership of the product.

Education

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
2. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience

1. 2+ years of overall experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
2. Experience in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile is preferred.
3. Exposure to product development teams or Agile project environments is an advantage.

5. Certifications from Scrum Alliance, ICAgile, SAFe, or Kanban University
