1. Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks (JEST, PyTest, Playwright, Chai).
2. Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
3. Practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker, etc.).

Job description for the Automation Testing Engineer (2 to 4 years of experience)

• Ensures proper execution of manual test procedures and automated test suites and scripts.

• Work with team to automate test plan(s) and execute regression runs.

• Work with both the Product Owner and development team to understand QA needs and develop QA Test Plan accordingly.

• Establishes strong working relationships with team members and cross functional teams. Cross BU collaboration and release planning.

• Follow established Agile process and QA best practices, process, and guidelines for high quality releases.

• Execute various testing activities such as Acceptance, Regression, System, Functional, Integration and some level of Performance testing.

• Provides accurate problem identification, root cause analysis, ticket documentation and resolution.

• Identify dependencies and risks/concerns with testing activities or release schedule.

• Work with team on CI/CD pipelines, automated build, test, deploy and support.

• Support trials of new infrastructure designs/services.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors’/Master's degree in Computer Science/Electronics and Communications or related field (CSE/ECE)

• 2 to 4 years of professional work experience with manual and automated testing.

• Good knowledge of python Language.

• Exposure to Linux based operating systems.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Exposure in using python-based automation frameworks.

• Experience working with Windows and Linux.

• Must be a self-starter and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working with geographically distributed test/development teams.
