Roles & responsibilities for Teradata requirement:
Production support analyst will readily take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution
Prioritize issues based on impact and urgency, transfer or escalate where required
Work with colleagues/teams to provide resolution in an effective, empathic and timely manner.
Identify similarities, patterns of repetitive tickets and resolve them by putting a solution/workaround.
Debug code and support/maintain the software solution
Invove in the DB migration & Implementations
Code development activities
Continuously look for opportunities for improving system performance, robustness and maintainability
Support production systems, resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Keep up to date with technology and use this knowledge to improve resolution times.
Identify, recommend process improvements where relevant.
Needs to be proactive and need to continuously look to improve the ways of working and the service being provided
Should work collaboratively, building strong relationships with colleagues within their team
Seek to pass on knowledge to others and manage time efficiently
Translate small behavior requirements into tasks & code
Identify similarities, patterns of repetitive tickets come up with Automations to accomplish repetitive work using SPLUNK, shell scripts, batch process etc.
Work effectively with my product stakeholders to communicate and translate their needs into improvements in my product.

Relevant Skills for Teradata:
Having around 6+ years of excellent insights and an expertise in Teradata database with hands on development and preferably support experience
Good knowledge on the Teradata architecture, it’s utilities and Performance tuning methods
Experience in design activities and data analysis
Having good knowledge on Data warehousing/ETL concepts is a must
Should be good in analytical skills, trouble shooting and suggesting solutions for complex issues
Knowledge in Mainframes / CA7 scheduler is an added advantage
Candidate must possess strong analytical skills for effective problem solving, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good client presence, and work well in a team environment
Produce and refactor code without assistance, and observe basic hygiene practices.
Develop high quality code that can lead to rapid delivery. Ruthlessly pursuing continuous integration and delivery.
Commit code early and often, demonstrating my understanding of version control & branching strategies.
Support production systems, resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis.
