We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lead to oversee the quality assurance of our web-based, responsive product. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manual testing, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, user-friendly products.

As a Manual Testing Lead, you will lead a team of junior testers, guide them in writing accurate test cases, review their work, and ensure that the product meets the highest quality standards across all devices and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of junior testers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Assign tasks and manage workloads effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and process improvements.
2. Test Planning and Execution
• Create comprehensive test plans and strategies for the responsive web product.
• Guide the team in designing, writing, and maintaining accurate and detailed test cases.
• Conduct manual testing of the product across various devices, browsers, and screen sizes to ensure responsiveness and compatibility.
3. Review and Quality Assurance
• Review and validate test cases, test scripts, and results prepared by junior testers.
• Identify gaps in testing and ensure all edge cases are covered.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to established QA processes and standards.
4. Defect Management
• Log, track, and manage defects in coordination with development teams.
• Ensure timely retesting and validation of fixes to maintain the release schedule.
5. Collaboration
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and resolve issues.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, quality metrics, and project risks.
6. Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in manual and responsive testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience:
• 8+ years of experience in manual testing of web-based products, including at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Hands-on experience testing responsive designs on various devices and browsers.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOPs, JIRA).
• Strong understanding of web technologies, browser compatibility, and responsive design principles.
• Leadership Skills:
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of testers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.
• Analytical Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and address gaps in test coverage proactively.
• Additional Skills (Preferred):
• Familiarity with automation tools is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of accessibility and performance testing is an advantage.
