Job Overview

ACHNET Demo is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Science Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data science principles, coupled with practical experience in Python and SQL, specifically within the banking industry. This role involves leveraging data to drive insights, build predictive models, and contribute to innovative data-driven solutions that enhance our banking operations and customer experiences. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges and deliver impactful results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems in the banking sector.
2. Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources using SQL and other data manipulation tools.
3. Utilize Python and its data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) for data analysis, feature engineering, and model building.
4. Design and implement data pipelines to support model training, evaluation, and production deployment.
5. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data science solutions.
6. Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models, identifying areas for improvement and retraining.
7. Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Educational Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Must-Have Skills

1. Proficiency in Python programming for data science applications.
2. Strong command of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
3. Demonstrated experience in the banking or financial services industry.
4. Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
5. Experience with data visualization tools and libraries.
6. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
