Sector Agriculture About the Internship Description of Role Project: Business Process improvement, making it more efficient - leading to the changes in SAP. Purpose This internship focuses on understanding the existing business processes in the organization across functions and understanding the same as defined in the SAP; recommend changes and lead a team to implement. Key Responsibilities · Understanding Current Processes · Conduct detailed mapping of existing workflows across functions; Engage with cross-functional teams to understand pain points and practical constraints. Product → Pricing → Inventory → Sales → Order → Production → Expense Management · Process Analysis & Gap Identification · Understand the flow as defined in the SAP system; Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement; Prioritize gaps based on business impact, feasibility, and cross-functional dependencies. · Propose Improved Processes · Develop redesigned process flows that reduce manual work, enhance speed, accuracy, alignment, and transparency; Where applicable, outline “system-ready” process logic without making it an SAP project. · Implementation Roadmap Development · Create phased implementation plans including timelines, resource needs, and dependencies; Identify areas requiring automation or system enablement (neutral language instead of SAP-specific); Support creation of SOPs, training content, checklists, or templates required for rollout. · Cross-functional Coordination · Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production, Finance, Supply Chain, and HR to collect data and validate recommendations; Act as a project bridge between operational teams and the internal process/tech team. Skill Sets Expected/ Role Requirement · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Ability to understand workflows and business logic. · Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, exposure to tools for data analysis and flowcharting, and basic understanding of ERPs (SAP exposure is a plus, not mandatory). · Good communication and work with cross-functional teams · Curiosity, structured thinking, and willingness to deep-dive into operations · Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales, marketing, production, supply chain, or operations preferred. · Mobility: Willing to travel across geographies, overseas.
