Job Overview

ACHNET Demo is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner to join our team in Mumbai, India. This pivotal role will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organizational objectives within the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR best practices, talent management, employee relations, and organizational development, with a proven track record of driving impactful HR initiatives in a complex, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and drive organizational effectiveness within the pharmaceutical sector.
  2. Provide expert guidance and consultation on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and retention strategies.
  3. Act as a change agent, supporting organizational design, workforce planning, and the implementation of new HR programs and initiatives.
  4. Develop and nurture strong relationships with employees and management, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  5. Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and recommend data-driven solutions to address business challenges.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, and proactively manage risk in employee relations matters.
  7. Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development programs to build a robust talent pipeline.


Educational Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  2. Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  3. Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI-SPHR) are a plus.

Must-Have Skills

  1. Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion within the pharmaceutical industry.
  2. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leadership.
  3. Deep understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
  4. Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business objectives into HR strategies.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues.
  7. Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis.

Good-to-Have Skills

  1. Experience with global HR operations and cross-cultural collaboration.
  2. Knowledge of talent management systems and methodologies.
  3. Experience in organizational development and change management.
  4. Familiarity with lean or agile methodologies in HR.
