TESCRA is an IT consulting and services provider Head Office in California, with an office in Bangalore. At TESCRA, we are looking for passionate & entrepreneurial people, who love taking ownership of tasks and are motivated even when working independently.

 

Role in brief:

As a Managing Partner,you will be a part of the leadership team and help the company in executing its business expansion plans geographically and by introducing new service offerings and product lines. We currently operate in the US, Canada and India. 

 

What will you do?

  • The role will take over overall management of this business unit, and will own the P&L.
  • Driving the growth of high value services revenue
  • Effective business operations leadership and P&L management
  • Build and expand sales and delivery team globally
  • Ensuring project management is executed effectively
  • Effective management of the sales process
  • In addition to building the business in existing markets, the incumbent will investigate the potential to take the business into new sectors, where market demand is compatible with the current range of offerings. The role will also involve identification and pursuit of acquisition targets.
  • This role will have a high degree of autonomy and will be very attractive for someone who wishes to own management of the business and there is considerable growth potential for a highly progressive person.

 

Who should apply? 

  • You have 15+ years of proven experience of working in a similar role 
  • Experience of either running a P&L, or of managing a practice area and ready to take a bigger challenge this will include solid management experience and ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the numbers side of the business 
  • Experience of developing and selling in to C-level contacts in the industry 
  • You will be a true "entrepreneur" with a broad network within the industry and will bring prior C-Level relationships that can be leveraged to grow business
  • Must have prior experience of growing business, selling technology solutions, and will be a self-starter 
  • Must have prior experience working in global delivery model (onshore, nearshore and offshore) 
  • Goal oriented with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and interact with inter-group stakeholders to accomplish the objectives.
  • Experience working within an IT services, IT consulting or software business
  • Good experience of managing project teams, to ensure implementations are on time and within budget, taking a robust approach to client management
  • Sales management experience including running and managing a sales process - Candidates will not necessarily be sales people, but will have overseen the sales process and managed sales people.
  • Demonstrate capability to open up new sources of revenue in other sectors

  • Superb team building skills with a predisposition to building consensus and achieving goals through collaboration 
  • A positive, results oriented style, evidenced by listening, motivating, delegating, influencing, and monitoring the work being done 
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility among his/her peers, a professional who is respected for his/her intelligence and technical expertise.

 

Compensation

This role will be equivalent to an equity partner and the incumbent will receive substantial stock options and profit share from the P&L as part of the compensation package. This role is for someone who knows she/he can drive the profits of the company upwards and believes in being rewarded for achievements.

Bay Area, CA, USA / Bangalore, India depending on your current location.
