Job Description: B2B Web and Content Writer with SEO Expertise

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with CMO and leadership to maintain and contribute to the organization’s messaging bibles per persona and sub-persona over time.

- Demonstrate ability to write copy for business SaaS websites, with ongoing testing to generate leads for marketing, nurture leads, and drive conversions for all customer types.

- Familiarity with the “Topic Authority Pillar” concept of SEO and ability to work in SEMRush for keyword research and optimization, in conjunction with other team members in email, social, and influencer marketing.

  - SEO Certification required; SEMRush certified a plus.

- Conduct 1-on-1 interviews and surveys with technical, professional, and student audiences.

- Perform secondary research to meet content needs of three personas and produce against an editorial calendar broken into quarters and campaigns (themes).

- Strong, quality copywriter with attention to detail and initiative to seek input from SMEs, SEO teammates, and website team to ensure error-free content before presenting to CMO and leadership for approval.

- Analyze content performance in pipeline against conversion events, source, intent signals, SEO keyword ranking, and site authority changes.

  - Not responsible for technical SEO.

- Collaborate on the mining of original, long-form content to produce assets for onsite, organic social, email, and influencer use.

Key Skills:

- Portfolio containing multiple B2B SaaS websites designed to generate leads and conversions, with the ability to share learnings.

- Portfolio showcasing various content format types: articles, blog posts, web pages, emails, etc.

- Content SEO skills aligned with the need to work with colleagues in SEMRush to review and optimize content across all channels and integrate learnings.

- Comfort with an international workforce and the need for morning and evening calls to communicate with teammates and SMEs as needed.
