Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Golang and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in backend development, cloud infrastructure, secure APIs (OAuth), and automation tools. This role requires someone who is passionate about clean code, scalable architectures, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang)
2. Work with various GCP services including Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, GKE, Cloud SQL, and more
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
4. Implement secure authentication/authorization flows using OAuth2
5. Develop and test APIs using tools like Postman, JMeter, or SoapUI
6. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance of cloud-native applications
7. Follow Agile/SCRUM methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
8. Utilize CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, and maintain continuous delivery pipelines
9. Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 3–5 years of professional software development experience
2. Proficient in Go (Golang) and experienced in at least one of: Java, .NET, C#, Node.js, Python
3. Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services:
4. Cloud Functions, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, GKE, GCE, VPC, Firebase, etc.
5. Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking
6. Experience working with SQL or Oracle databases
7. Familiar with OAuth and its various authentication flows
8. Hands-on with any API or performance testing tools (Postman, JMeter, SoapUI, Selenium)
9. Experience with Git, CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins
10. Understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies

Nice to Have:

1. Experience in microservices architecture
2. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Stackdriver
3. Exposure to Deployment Manager or Terraform for GCP
