Position Summary:


We have an exciting opportunity available for a Sr. Workday Consultant on our Workday Delivery team! This role will be responsible for ensuring the successful production support (post go-live) for the Talent and Performance module and one or more additional modules under the HCM umbrella such as: Learning, Recruiting, Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation (merit, bonus, stock), and Benefits. Consultants in this role should also be comfortable troubleshooting or navigating Workday Security and be able to build custom reports. This role will actively contribute to the development of ERPA’s Workday AMS practice and should showcase innovation, strategic thinking and have the drive to make ERPA a Workday partner of choice.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Act as a lead consultant on multiple client engagements with limited direction
  2. Understand client business requirements and provide guidance throughout design, configuration and prototype, and assist clients with testing and move to Production efforts
  3. Partner with Engagement Managers to keep them informed of project status, changes, etc.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to ensure clear lines of communication and project alignment
  5. Accurately maintain forecast in a timely manner
  6. Partner with the Sales team and serve as a Subject Matter Expert while assisting with sales presentations, demos, and LOEs
  7. Stay up to date on industry knowledge, Workday enhancements, and be able to advise on Workday best practices
  8. Build strong relationships with clients, gained through trust and exceptional customer service


Experience and Education Requirements:


  1. Minimum of two years of experience as a Workday Talent and Performance lead consultant at a Workday partner firm is required
  2. Must have experience completing at least two Workday Talent and Performance implementations (Phase 1 or Phase X), and have the knowledge required to work independently on projects.
  3. Workday Talent and Performance Implementer Certification is required AND at least one of these Workday Partner implementer certifications: Learning (strongly preferred), Recruiting, Advanced Comp, Benefits.
  4. Employment is contingent upon obtaining a Workday Launch certification.
  5. All required Workday Partner certifications must remain in Active status throughout employment.
  6. Must have experience troubleshooting or navigating Workday Security and be able to build custom reports.
  7. Strong organizational skills are required. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with a detailed understanding of Workday HCM processes and best practices to make appropriate implementation recommendations.
  9. Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, coupled with a desire to have fun while building something new (required)
