ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Your Role As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business needs, identify process inefficiencies, and develop data-driven recommendations that enable process redesign and continuous improvement. In this role, you will serve as a critical link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure that solutions align with strategic goals and deliver measurable value. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL Fulfill the responsibilities below to drive best-in-class process mapping, analysis, and operational understanding. Key Responsibilities Requirements & Documentation ● Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to gather detailed business and technical requirements that connect back to strategy. ● Translate requirements into clear functional specifications, process documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement ● Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop quantifiable problem statements used in business cases. ● Redesign and optimize workflows using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or BPMN. ● Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and support operational excellence efforts. Data Analysis & Insights ● Interpret data trends and create dashboards, reports, and models to support decision-making. ● Manipulate and analyze data using tools such as Excel (advanced functions), SQL, and analytics platforms. Solution Design & Delivery ● Partner with technical teams to translate business solutions into technical requirements and documentation. ● Participate in solution design, testing (including UAT), implementation, and post-deployment review. ● Validate delivered solutions to ensure they meet requirements and provide expected value. Stakeholder Engagement ● Facilitate communication and alignment across business users, project managers, developers, and leadership. ● Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes or systems. Skills and Experience ● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field. ● Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required or strongly preferred). ● Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. ● Proven experience in process mapping, process design, and business case development. ● Proficiency with requirements documentation and business analysis tools. ● Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, and analytics/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). ● Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities. ● Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies. ● High attention to detail and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. ● Experience level of resources: > 10 years ● Work Location: Bangalore ● Working shift timing: Available until 2pm est ● Remote working / Work from office /Hybrid: Hybrid 3-4 days in office.
