Job Overview:

ACHNET Inc is seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our responsive web applications and APIs through thorough testing, with a strong focus on user experience. This role involves executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality software products that meet our users' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications and APIs.
2. Perform functional, regression, and usability testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.
3. Analyze test results and report defects accurately, providing detailed steps to reproduce.
4. Collaborate with developers and other team members to resolve defects and ensure timely releases.
5. Participate in the review of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
6. Ensure that all testing activities are performed in accordance with established standards and procedures.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Must-Have Skills:

1. 1-5 years of experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs.
2. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
3. Experience with testing responsive web designs across different browsers and devices.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).

Good-to-Have Skills:

1. Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
2. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
3. Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured).

Pay Rate/Salary:

Commensurate with experience.
