Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled AWS Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will play a key role in ensuring our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, architecture best practices, and experience with programming languages such as Julia and Java.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement scalable and resilient AWS architectures to meet business requirements.
2. Lead the migration of on-premises infrastructure to the AWS cloud.
3. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning and management.
4. Ensure the security and compliance of AWS environments.
5. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability on AWS.
6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies.

Educational Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is highly preferred.

Must-Have Skills

1. 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud computing.
2. Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and RDS.
3. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Julia or Java.
4. Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
5. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
2. Knowledge of security best practices for AWS environments.
3. Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark.
