Job Overview:

ACHNET Demo is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Home Caregiver to provide dedicated care and support to seniors in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of senior care needs, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to create a safe and comfortable environment for our clients. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through personalized care and assistance with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, activities, and social interaction.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, tidying living areas, and changing bed linens.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social outings as needed.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.

Educational Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• Home Health Aide (HHA) certification may be considered.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience in providing senior care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations.
• Ability to lift and assist with transferring clients.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with specific medical conditions common in seniors (e.g., dementia, Alzheimer's).
• Ability to speak a second language.
• Experience with meal preparation and dietary restrictions.
