Job Overview:

ACHNET Demo is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data-driven initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
• Develop and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Design and maintain data warehouse schemas and data models.
• Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and other engineers, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Airflow, Informatica, AWS Glue).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with data modeling and schema design.
• Experience with data governance and data quality practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
