Job Overview:

ACHNET is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sponsorship Sales Director to drive revenue growth through the sale of sponsorships for The Conference Board events. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sponsorship sales, a strong understanding of the conference industry, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sponsorship sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify, cultivate, and secure new sponsorship opportunities for The Conference Board events.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Create compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to prospective sponsors' needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and event teams to develop sponsorship packages and promotional materials.
  • Track sales performance, analyze results, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging sponsorship opportunities.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience in sponsorship sales, preferably within the conference or events industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with The Conference Board or similar organizations.
  • Knowledge of the New York Tri-State area market.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.

Pay Rate/Salary:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus commission and benefits.
