Job Overview:

ACHNET Demo is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Compliance to oversee and manage all compliance-related activities within the Latin American (LATAM) region. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, while also mitigating risks and promoting a culture of compliance within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of LATAM regulatory environments, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in compliance management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program for the LATAM region, aligned with global standards and local regulations.
• Oversee and manage compliance investigations, including conducting internal audits and risk assessments.
• Provide expert guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters, including anti-corruption, data privacy, and financial regulations.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations within the LATAM region and proactively update compliance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure compliance with all relevant requirements.
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or certification (e.g., JD, MBA, CCEP) preferred.

• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
