Job Overview

ACHNET Demo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Liability Protection and Remediation Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing environmental liability protection and remediation activities across various industrial sectors, including oil and gas, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental regulations, remediation technologies, and risk management principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental liability protection strategies to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage and oversee remediation projects, including site investigation, remedial design, and construction oversight.
• Conduct environmental due diligence assessments for potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• Prepare and review environmental reports, permits, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, operations, and engineering teams, to address environmental issues.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental programs and recommend improvements.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Advanced degree (Master's or higher) is a plus.

Must-Have Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in environmental remediation and liability management.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA).
• Experience with site investigation, remedial design, and construction oversight.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., GIS, data analysis software).

Good-to-Have Skills

• Professional certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist).
• Experience with risk assessment and risk management methodologies.
• Familiarity with emerging remediation technologies.
