Job Overview:

ACHNET Demo is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced life support and emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations. The Paramedic will work under the direction of medical control physicians and in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) care to patients in emergency situations.
2. Assess patients, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations to determine the nature and extent of illnesses or injuries.
3. Administer medications, perform advanced medical procedures, and operate medical equipment as authorized by medical control.
4. Transport patients safely and efficiently to medical facilities, providing continuous care during transit.
5. Maintain accurate and complete patient care reports (PCRs) and other required documentation.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other emergency responders.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the ambulance and medical equipment.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Graduation from an accredited Paramedic program.
2. Current and valid Paramedic license/certification in the state of California.
3. Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

1. Proficiency in advanced life support techniques and procedures.
2. Ability to assess and manage a wide range of medical emergencies.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
4. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Good-to-Have Skills:

1. Experience in a busy emergency medical services setting.
2. Experience with electronic patient care reporting systems.
3. Knowledge of local geography and emergency response procedures.
4. Additional certifications (e.g., ITLS, etc.).
