Job Overview:

ACHNET Demo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in San Ramon, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wound care, particularly within a high desert environment. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with various wound types.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
2. Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans, including dressing selection, debridement, and other therapeutic interventions.
3. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
4. Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and medication management.
5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of wound care protocols and procedures.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
2. Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California.
3. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP).

Must-Have Skills:

1. Proven experience in wound care management.
2. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Good-to-Have Skills:

1. Experience working in a high desert environment.
2. Certification in wound care (e.g., CWCN, CWS).
3. Experience with advanced wound care modalities.
4. Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and standards.
