Job Overview:

ACHNET Demo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Platform DevOps Lead Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps principles, AWS services, and automation tools, with a focus on security, efficiency, and scalability. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with development and operations teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions. The DevOps Lead Engineer will be responsible for establishing best practices, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement within the DevOps organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and other relevant CI/CD platforms.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring infrastructure is scalable, repeatable, and secure.
• Lead the implementation of DevOps security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, access control, and compliance.
• Manage and optimize AWS services, including EKS and ECS, to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate and automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to DevOps team members.
• Utilize tools like Copilot to streamline development processes and enhance developer productivity.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, ECS, EC2, S3, etc.).
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Solid understanding of DevOps security principles and best practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Copilot or similar developer productivity tools.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
