Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design and Business Manager to lead and grow our interior design domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, business development strategies, and project management. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage design projects, cultivate client relationships, and drive business growth within the interior design sector. The Design and Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of design projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee interior design projects from initial concept to final execution.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company's presence in the interior design market.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within allocated resources.
• Lead and mentor a team of interior designers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the interior design industry.
• Ensure all design projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience in managing interior design projects and teams.
• Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial resources effectively.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with sustainable design practices.
• Industry certifications such as LEED AP.
