Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Warehouse Business Development to lead our efforts in identifying and securing new warehousing business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the 3PL, e-commerce, and industrial sectors, with a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of building strong relationships with potential clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify and develop new warehousing business opportunities within the 3PL, e-commerce, and industrial sectors.
2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and target markets.
3. Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential client companies.
5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with new clients.
7. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and finance, to ensure successful onboarding of new business.

Educational Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Must-Have Skills

1. Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the warehousing industry.
2. Strong understanding of the 3PL, e-commerce, and industrial sectors.
3. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
5. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
2. Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools.
3. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
