Job Overview

ACHNET Demo is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Sustainability Manager to lead and enhance our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sustainability programs that align with our business objectives and contribute to a more sustainable future. Your expertise in ESG reporting and the chemical industry, particularly within the precious metals sector, will be crucial in driving our sustainability performance and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
2. Lead the development and execution of ESG reporting frameworks, ensuring accurate and transparent disclosure of sustainability performance.
3. Monitor and analyze key sustainability metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to enhance performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into business processes, product development, and supply chain management.
5. Stay abreast of emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices in the chemical and precious metals industries.
6. Communicate sustainability initiatives and performance to internal and external stakeholders, including employees, investors, and customers.
7. Conduct sustainability audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and opportunity, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Educational Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
2. Master's degree preferred.
3. Relevant certifications in sustainability (e.g., LEED AP, GRI Certification) are a plus.

Must-Have Skills

1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability management, with a focus on ESG reporting and the chemical industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
3. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the chemical and precious metals industries.
4. Proven ability to develop and implement successful sustainability programs and initiatives.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Experience working in the precious metals industry.
2. Familiarity with life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies.
3. Experience with stakeholder engagement and community outreach.

Pay Rate/Salary
