Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Lead to join our team. The Procurement Lead will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies within the steel industry, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of materials and services. This role requires a strong understanding of the steel market, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives within the steel industry.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and sustainability criteria.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, production, and finance, to understand their needs and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in procurement activities.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.

Must-Have Skills

• Extensive knowledge of the steel industry and related procurement practices.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
