Job Overview

ACHNET Demo is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT General Controls (ITGC) Auditor to join our team. The ITGC Auditor will be responsible for assessing the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls across various systems and applications. This role requires a strong understanding of IT audit methodologies, technology risk management, and compliance frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute ITGC audits in accordance with established standards and methodologies.
2. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT general controls related to security, change management, access controls, and computer operations.
3. Identify and document control deficiencies, assess their potential impact, and develop remediation plans.
4. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
5. Prepare audit reports summarizing audit scope, procedures, and results.
6. Monitor the implementation of remediation plans and track progress towards completion.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT audit and technology risk management.

Educational Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.

Must-Have Skills

1. 3-4 years of experience in IT audit, technology risk management, or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of IT general controls (ITGC) and their application in various IT environments.
3. Experience with audit methodologies and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST).
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Certification in SOC (System and Organization Controls).
2. Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
3. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
