Job Overview

ACHNET Demo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Commodity Manager to lead gas delivery integration management within our supply chain operations. This critical role will be responsible for developing and executing commodity strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials for our equipment manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain principles, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in commodity management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic commodity plans for gas delivery integration, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and other key performance indicators.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and address any issues or concerns.
• Analyze market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities related to commodity supply.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and procurement, to ensure alignment on commodity strategies.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives and drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM) are a plus.

Must-Have Skills

• Extensive knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Proven experience in commodity management, specifically related to gas delivery systems.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience in the equipment manufacturing industry.
