The position carries the following responsibilities:

- ETL testing for validating the data sources, extraction of data, applying transformation logic, and loading the data qualifying information while restricting duplicate records and data loss.

- Review use stories and ensure requirements are understood.

- Works with product owners and business analysts to ensure acceptance criteria accurately captures all use cases and provide feedback where needed.

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

- Estimate all testing activities and prioritize and coordinate all required activities

- Performs QA testing to determine completeness of requirements.

- Implement automation wherever possible

- Log all defects in a timely fashion with detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce the bug.

- Perform regression testing and keep regression scripts up to date.

- Track metrics such as open defect counts

- Attend and actively participate in all agile ceremonies

Skills Needed:

- 5+ years’ experience in development and or software quality assurance

- Strong SQL skills

- Experience in Automation and Dev Ops a plus

- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

- Good written and oral communication skills

- Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong work ethic.

- Ability to multi-task and remain flexible in fast paced environment.

- Results-orientation - takes initiative to identify areas to add value and executes quickly

- Hands on current experience with unix scripting

- Familiar with BDD testing framework

- Degree in Computer Science preferred
