Job Overview

ApMoSys Technologies Private Limited is seeking a meticulous and experienced UAT Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the testing and validation of CASA (Current Account Savings Account) and Term Deposit functionalities within our core banking system. You will collaborate closely with business users, product teams, and IT professionals to ensure that system enhancements and new features align with business requirements and are ready for successful production deployment. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test plans and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
2. Perform thorough testing of CASA and Term Deposit functionalities within the core banking system, identifying and documenting defects.
3. Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and ensure that the system meets their expectations.
4. Work closely with the development team to resolve defects and ensure timely resolution of issues.
5. Document test results and provide clear and concise reports on the status of testing activities.
6. Participate in the review of requirements and design documents to ensure testability.
7. Contribute to the improvement of the UAT process and testing methodologies.

Educational Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications in testing methodologies are a plus.

Must-Have Skills

1. Proven experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within the banking or financial services industry.
2. Strong understanding of CASA and Term Deposit functionalities.
3. Experience with core banking systems and related technologies.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Experience with automated testing tools.
2. Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
3. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
