Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Crop Lead to manage our Mustard and Bajra product lines within the designated region. The Crop Lead will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies, driving sales growth, and providing technical expertise to our field teams and customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of agronomy, pest management, and the agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product strategies for Mustard and Bajra crops to achieve market share and profitability targets.
• Provide technical support and training to sales teams and channel partners on product features, benefits, and application.
• Conduct field trials and demonstrations to evaluate product performance and gather agronomic data.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats.
• Manage product life cycle, including product launches, phase-outs, and portfolio optimization.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, researchers, and industry experts.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in product management within the agricultural industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Mustard and Bajra crops, including agronomy, pest management, and market dynamics.
• Strong understanding of pesticide application and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience working with regional or zonal sales teams.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to crop protection products.
• Certification in agronomy or crop science.
