1 Key responsibilities: • Achieve Primary and Secondary Sales Targets and build advocacy for our company. • Responsible for creating Primary Orders from Distributors and generating Secondary Demand from Retailers. • Understand the causes for product return, unsold stock, demand variation etc. and communicate to upward management. • Responsible for converting in-active and new distributors into active ones through trade activities. • Responsible for sharing Season-to-date results with Regional Business Manager for review. • Ensure timely updation of sales dashboards and trackers. • Responsible for promotional activities through Farmer events and Field Demonstrations • Participate in Review-cum planning meetings with MDOs and Regional Managers • Coach the MDOs through On-the-job Training. Tasks: • Conduct scheduled calls to Distributors, Retailers and Nurseries and also accompany MDOs in their calls/ visits. • Visit Distributors to make sales order, collect payments and gather information on competitor's placement. • Visit Retailers and Nurseries to create advocacy for products and take Sales Orders for one's Distributors. • Merchandise retail outlets periodically. • Communicate monthly targets and monthly travel plans to concerned teams. • Provide Live Tehsil-wise Maps of Retailers to all MDOs. • Select the plots for promotional activities like Crop Shows, Field Day, Farmer events etc. and organize them with the help of MDOs. Territory Business Manager Purpose: Achieve sales target and product placement-on-ground targets in the assigned territory through managing a team of Market Development Officers (MDOs). 2 Key Interactions Internal Stakeholders Executives from Purpose Marketing Seek information on market requirement and activities. Human Resource Issues related to work policies, compensation, Sales Seek information on sales in different regions. External Stakeholders Distributors and Retailers, Other channel partners Seek information with regards to product performance, competition, future products, and market trend. Farmers, Growers Seek information regarding their demand and expectations. Role Requirement Minimum Experience 2-5 yrs. Educational Qualification Degree / Diploma in Management / Agri-business / Agriculture or related stream.
